Flexible Financial & Payment Options at Metropolitan Pediatric Dentistry
Financial Information for Our Patients
At Metropolitan Pediatric Dentistry, we believe that every child deserves access to high-quality dental care and your child’s dental health is always our foremost priority. Our dedicated team is committed to making the process of navigating financial and insurance matters as straightforward and hassle-free as possible.
Our office operates on a “fee for service” basis, which means that you’ll pay for services at the time of your appointment, but if you have dental insurance coverage, we will help file claims with your provider on your behalf. We are not in-network with any dental insurance companies, but if you are covered under out-of-network benefits, your provider will send reimbursement directly to the policy holder. We are not a covered provider for government-funded insurance plans such as Medicaid.
Estimating the Cost of Your Child’s Dental Treatment
Before the start of your child’s treatment, we will provide you with an estimate of the costs based on the recommended procedures. Our aim is to ensure you have a clear understanding of your financial responsibilities, without any surprises.
Parents of patients requiring return visits will be given a written treatment plan with ADA codes, office fees, and the estimated number of visits to accomplish treatment. If there are any concerns or questions regarding this information, please contact us prior to the day of treatment so that your child may receive the benefit of the full time allocated for his/her appointment.
Payment and Flexible Financing Options for Your Child’s Dental Treatment
Understanding that financial considerations are important, we strive to provide flexible payment solutions for our families. We accept multiple forms of payment, including:
- Cash
- Major credit cards
- Debit cards
- Checks
We are also pleased to offer financing options through third-party providers, such as CareCredit®, which offers flexible payment plans for qualifying patients. These options can be particularly helpful for covering treatment costs not reimbursed by insurance.
